Just a little Sunday afternoon writing.
The building of a relationship is like a river slowly carving through a canyon.  The Grand Canyon took billions of years to form, as the strength of the water caressed the rocks away and formed perfectly chiseled crevices, then gouges, then finally the looming, famous abysses that we see today.  A budding relationship takes time, tentative reaching from one person to another, the careful finesse...

 Hyggelig Danish – Its “literal” translation into English gives connotations of a warm, friendly, cozy demeanor, but it’s unlikely that these words truly capture the essence of a hyggelig; it’s likely something that must be experienced to be known. I think of a warm fire, sunshine on my face, and good company.
